Forte dei Marmi is much more than a tourist destination; it is a lifestyle that combines refinement, art and nature. Yet, like every place of great distinction, it requires constant care and attention.

Our town is distinguished by a unique real-estate heritage: luxury villas that tell stories of a glorious past, but which today, in some cases, risk falling into oblivion. The new Municipal Operational Plan, awaited with great hope, could represent a decisive turning point.

It is hoped that approval of this plan will allow construction sites to reopen, with targeted measures to safeguard the territory by restoring historic and prestigious properties, returning abandoned villas to their former splendour—many of which could once again become symbols of Forte dei Marmi’s elegance and exclusivity—and improving the urban fabric, making the town even more attractive to both residents and tourists.

Regeneration is not merely an aesthetic necessity, but also a fundamental strategy for preserving Forte dei Marmi’s identity and further enhancing its role as a leader in luxury tourism.

The summer season just ended was marked by both highs and lows. On the one hand, we saw a large influx of tourists loyal to our destination; on the other, we witnessed some regular visitors choosing new destinations.

For next summer, our objective is clear: we want Forte dei Marmi to be sold out once again, an unmissable destination for travellers from around the world.

To achieve this goal, it will be essential to focus on exclusive events that enliven the summer days and make the town increasingly vibrant; the highest-quality services, capable of meeting the needs of a sophisticated clientele; and cooperation between the public and private sectors, enabling us to strengthen Forte dei Marmi’s image as an iconic luxury-tourism destination.
